Set up API

  1. Create an API key

    In Settings, open API and create a key with your desired name and permissions.

  2. Send it with each request

    The API docs show you how to make requests and what responses look like. Our docs are also AI-friendly.

What it does

  • Search, update, and delete your Finds
  • Read, update, create, and delete your Ghosts
  • Start Ghost scans
  • Take or modify actions on Finds

Who is it for?

Companies that want Finds, Ghosts, or Actions in a report, a data warehouse, or a tool we do not currently support. Also for companies that want to build their own internal tools on top of PitchGhost.

Can my AI Agent use the API?

For AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot, we recommend using our MCP integration instead.

Can you help me build something with the API?

We can help you get started, but we do not build custom tools for customers. However, if there is a tool you'd like us to make an official integration for, let us know!

Does the API let me scrape social platforms?

No. Our API only gives you access to your company's data. It does not give you API access to any social platform. If you have a use case that requires social platform data, please reach out as we handle those on a case-by-case basis.
