A question still haunting you?
Do I need a developer?
Not necessarily. If you have a tool that can receive JSON, you can likely set it up yourself. If you want to send the data to a database or a custom tool, you may need a developer.
Can you help me set up a webhook?
We can help you get started, but we do not build custom tools for customers. However, if there is a tool you'd like us to make an official integration for, let us know!
What if our system is down?
Your Finds are still available in PitchGhost, so nothing is ever lost.
Should I use this with my AI Agent?
No. For AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot, we recommend using our official MCP integration instead.
What's the difference between webhooks and the API?
Webhooks are useful for getting notified when a scan is complete. They're also read-only, so you can't change or update your Finds or Ghosts. The API is useful for reading and updating your Finds, Ghosts, and Actions from your own code.
