A question still haunting you?
Do I have to link an X account?
No. Your Ghost finds content without it. Linking your account is 100% optional. You only need to link your X account if you want to respond directly from PitchGhost or our other integrations.
Do you need my password?
No. We never ask for your X username or password. You link your account through our browser extension, in a browser where you're already signed in to X.
Will this put my X account at risk?
Ultimately you're responsible for what you post. However, your Ghost never uses your account to find content, so that part carries no risk to it. When you respond through PitchGhost, we space out what you send, the way a person would. X sets its own rules, so we can't guarantee how it treats any account.
Does PitchGhost automatically post for us?
Not without your approval. Your Ghost gives you a suggested response, but someone on your team decides whether to send it, edit it, or ignore it.
Can each person on my team use their own account?
Yes. Everyone can link their own X account, and pick which one to respond from on a case-by-case basis.
Can I control who posts using my account?
Yes. You have complete control over who else in your company can post using your account.
Do I have to leave my computer on for this to work?
No. Once you link your X account, your Ghost (and anyone you designate) can send responses even if your computer is off.
Are you officially partnered with X?
No. We are not affiliated with X, and all trademarks are the property of their respective owners (X Corp).
