Set up Apollo
Connect your Apollo account
In Settings, open Integrations and connect Apollo. Apollo will ask you to approve PitchGhost for access to your account.
Pick an Apollo list
Create a User Monitor Ghost, choose Smart Sync, and pick the list of contacts you want to monitor.
Choose what happens with each Find
Add the contact to a sequence, create a task, or do nothing in Apollo. Then tell your Ghost what matters to you.
What it does
- Monitors the contacts on an Apollo list on LinkedIn, with no keywords to write
- Finds the LinkedIn profile for contacts that don't have one
- Adds the contact to a sequence, or creates a task with a suggested response
A question still haunting you?
Will it change our Apollo data?
No. Your Ghost only adds tasks or sequence steps for contacts already on your list, and only if you ask it to. It doesn't edit or delete your contacts.
Does PitchGhost automatically email my contacts?
Not unless you set it up that way. You decide what happens with each Find: add the contact to a sequence you choose, create a task for someone on your team, or do nothing in Apollo.
Do you need my Apollo password?
No. We never ask for your Apollo username or password. Our integration uses Apollo’s secure and official sign-in to let you approve PitchGhost for access to your account.
Do my contacts need a LinkedIn URL in Apollo?
No. Your Ghost finds the LinkedIn profile for contacts that don't have one, using their name and company or email.
Do we need to write keywords?
No. You pick an Apollo list and tell your Ghost what matters to you. It reads what those people post on LinkedIn and only keeps what fits.
Does my team have to leave Apollo?
No. Each Find shows up in Apollo as a task or a sequence step, with a suggested response. If you want to take it from there, you can.
