Set up Folk
Connect your Folk account
In Settings, open Integrations and paste an API key that you create in Folk.
Pick a Folk group
Create a User Monitor Ghost, choose Smart Sync, and pick the group of people you want to monitor.
Choose what happens with each Find
Add a note to the person, log a LinkedIn interaction, or do nothing in Folk. Then tell your Ghost what matters to you.
What it does
- Monitors the people in a Folk group on LinkedIn, with no keywords to write
- Finds the LinkedIn profile for people that don't have one
- Adds each Find to the person as a note or a LinkedIn interaction, with a suggested response
A question still haunting you?
Will it change our Folk data?
No. Your Ghost only adds notes or interactions for people already in your group, and only if you ask it to. It can also save a person's LinkedIn URL, but only if you turn that on. It doesn't edit or delete your people.
Does PitchGhost contact anyone in our Folk?
No. PitchGhost never emails or messages your people. It only gives your team a note or an interaction with a suggested response, and someone on your team decides what to do with it.
Do you need my Folk password?
No. We never ask for your Folk username or password. You connect with an API key that you create in Folk.
Do my people need a LinkedIn URL in Folk?
No. Your Ghost finds the LinkedIn profile for people that don't have one, using their name and company.
Do we need to write keywords?
No. You pick a group and tell your Ghost what matters to you. It reads what those people post on LinkedIn and only keeps what fits.
Does my team have to leave Folk?
No. Each Find shows up in Folk as a note or an interaction, with a suggested response. If you want to take it from there, you can.
